Unique Arcade Toys!
This site reflects my fascination with the hardware, graphics and gameplay of the classic 80's arcade. I’ve also documented the basics of building an arcade cabinet, based on the MAME and DAPHNE emulators, and listed some useful UK based component suppliers.
My own arcade cabinet project is progressing, although this is turning into a very long term project!
I'm also starting to build a collection of classic 80's hand held games, including Nintendo Game and Watch, and classics from Grandstand that I played with as a kid. Anyone up for a game of Astro Wars?
There is a big community of retro gamers out there, and many sites dedicated to playing and building arcade cabinets, and I have sorted and rated my favourites.
