I've come across a number of suppliers in my research, some of which are US based, but also UK based distributors and dealers. Below is a selection of the suppliers I have found most useful.

US manufacturer of original arcade parts. Happ are THE supplier of arcade joysticks, buttons, monitors etc. and have a massive online catalogue.
Manufacturer of keyboard and mouse interfaces for MAME and other PC and console based cabinets, including full wiring looms for easy connection. I used an Ultimarc I-PAC mini-pac connecter for my machine.

UK distributor of components for arcade projects, including full kits - very good value for money, I plan to buy a lot of stuff from here!

UK seller of original arcade machines, very large selection of cabinets available. Also selling pinball and fruit machines.
Supplier of PC light guns which are 100% compatible with MAME classics such as Point Blank and Time Crisis.

Supplier of DVD and DVD-ROM versions of the classic LaserDisk games including Space Ace and Dragon's Lair

UK based manufacturer of smart power strips that turn off all other peripherals (monitor, speakers, lamps) when the PC is powered down.
